Sunday Stolen Moments...

A long time ago I picked up a rose wine bottle at Stew Leonard's wines called "Stolen Moments". It stuck with me long after that day. I find myself living for those moments over the weekend that I always want to remember!

I really need to find that bottle of wine too because it was soooo delicious!! =P

My Weekend Stolen Moments

~ I tried out this recipe and my husband loved it.  I've been enjoying trying out new recipes!

~The movie Hardcore Henry was AWESOME!!! But, you will be nauseous by the end of it. It's Blair With Project meets an Icona Pop video. It's nuts with the first person perspective and the movie was filmed entirely with a GoPro camera. Oh and the soundtrack is insane. ~

~ On Saturday we went to the new Go-Karting place and seriously...it's so crazy to go Go-Karting in a mall! I think I like being outside better though!

~ Catching this cutie pic of my cat Gabby!  She looks like Batman, so Bat Kitty! =P ~

~ Part of my new normal is going to visit my grandmother every other weekend in the nursing home. She has dementia, but somehow I'm in her mind. Her whole psyche brightens up every time. It's a gift that I'm so grateful for. =) ~

~ Humming "Jungle Love"  by the Steve Miller Band than glancing over and realizing my husband is the only other person who is humming it as well. This song was playing in a very noisy restaurant over a party of 20+ people and we were the only ones that heard it!  =P ~

~ I tried out this recipe and my husband loved it.  I've been enjoying trying out new recipes!

~ Oh and this was the amazing pizza I made last week!! ~

I reallllly need to make this again soon!! =)

  1. I love that you visit your grandmother. Mine lives in Florida and is almost 90 and I can't wait to see her in August. xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  2. What a great weekend!! So sweet of you to visit your grandmother. I worked for a few weeks at a nursing home when they were super short on nurses, it always broke my heart to see that some of the elderly never got any visitors...it really makes their day to see a familiar face, that's for sure.

  5. That is so sweet of you to visit your grandmother so frequently. We don't live in the same state as our grandparents but anytime we are back home we make sure to see them!

  7. I love the randomness of stolen moments. I think those are the ones that get forgotten way too quickly since they aren't considered the big life events. But really it's those that make up our life. (Sorry, got a little deep there!) lol. Great snippets of stolen moments and that pizza looks amazing! #AnythingGoes

  8. My Grandmother has dementia too but she lives 600 miles away and I can't get to see her. It makes me feel really guilty though - it's so lovely that you get to see yours even though I know it must be very painful #AnythingGoes
