2. Snowman & Friends Mugs - Sur La Table
3. Reindeer Trivet - Crate Barrel
5.  Outdoor Ornament Pine Wreath - Pottery Barn

Tis the Season to be Jolly! I could go through holiday stuff all day long and still be amazed! I love the creative new ways the stores come up with each year! I think I'm going to go pick up that cutie lil reindeer trivet tomorrow!

This year though I'm feeling a little stuck in the Scrooge zone. It's already December 3rd and I have yet to decorate anything except my cubicle at work. I think I was hoping to be in a new home by this time this year. Craig and I got married in March and I've been searching every day on Zillow, Homes.com, and real estate agent specific searches...but nothing seems to fit just right. We saw a wonderful new home in the current New York county we live in, but on paper there is just no way we could afford it. It completely put on a damper on the next few properties we've seen.

We are looking to live in a condo/townhouse with low common charges & reasonable taxes. Easy right? lol. Well, It's easy to find but then there are always the other factors which determine if a house is right for you. I'm addicted to House Hunters, Fixxer Upper, & Flip Flop and it doesn't help. I have all the urgency and willingness to decorate/remodel/branch out - but where we currently live is way too small. We outgrew the space fast. For now, I have to throw out more stuff, Craig needs to not buy any new guitars or amps, and we have to try not to accumulate any more new bulky stuff than what we have and have a little wiggle room for some Christmas stuff! =)

Finding and moving into a new home will definitely be my main goal for 2016...

However, this is still Craig & I's first Christmas as a married couple and I cannot go a holiday season without a little holiday cheer & decorations!! This weekend I am going to try and move some stuff around to somewhere put a tree and decorations I've acquired through the years. I did buy a Wedding Cake "First Christmas Together" ornament today and I have to hang it somewhere! =)

Here is another lil mish mosh list of adorable items I've found that might make it's way into our home!

  12. I totally understand the Scrooge feeling. I almost didn't decorate this year because of the same thing, we were supposed to have moved this summer and it didn't happen. I didn't want to bring it out again in our lil apartment. But, once you get it out there I promise it will make the spirit feel better.

  15. House hunting is so stressful. I definitely feel for you. I remember how frustrating it was... and I definitely didn't feel like we were ever going to find something. We did - and we've been renovating since August.... and it was supposed to be done by end of September. Argh. That being said, can you look for something that might need a little TLC and really make it your own through your own updates that may be less expensive? Side note: love that West Elm cityscape!! Gorgeous!
